GJFL Coaching Development.
DICK BATE, Ex Senior FA National Coach & England U19 manager, has coached at several professional clubs & has recently returned to the professional game after a long spell at the FA delivering the FA Pro license to Premiership Club Managers. He is currently the Technical Director of Watford FC. People come from far and wide to see Dick first hand.
He will discuss the modern role of the coach.
Then will deliver a practical demonstration on
“possession work”, as only Dick can deliver.

Leeds United Academy training courses are being run by their qualified Academy Coaches during the January and February for players aged U7s to U16s. Check the three different courses on offer. The courses include a 5 week saturday morning goalkeeper training course at Thorpe Arch that starts this coming Saturday, 12th January.

JOHN PEACOCK, ENGLAND U17& U20 COACH & FA NATIONAL COACH delivered a coaching workshop on Attacking centrally; including build up play, technical work, dribbling, small sided games and shooting.
Over 100 GJFL Coaches attend the event held at Leeds United's Academy, Thorp Arch.

WRCFA Charter standard in-service training programme.
There are a wide range of workshops and demonstrations for you to access this year which are now spread around the county. I hope you find these interesting and beneficial to you and your clubs development. Please remember that as a requirement of your charter standard award you are required to attend at least ONE workshop per year. These are of great benefit to you and your club as it helps you refresh your ideas and also meet with other clubs and pick up new ideas. The other benefit is that these are FREE to charter standard clubs, for the demonstrations as many people from your club can attend and up to 4 people per workshop. |

GJFL Coaching Demo No4.
LES HOWIE, FA NATIONAL CLUB DEVELOPMENT MANAGER will deliver the 4th coaching demo at Farsley Celtic AFC on Thursday 21st September starting at 7:00pm. Les is an 'A' licence coach and creator of the Level 1 coaching course which has become the most successful coaching course in UK sports coaching history.

To apply for the £10 bursary for Level 1 Manager training, please complete the application form in full and return with either a copy of the Level 1 Certificate or a letter from First for Sport confirming the claimant has successfully completed all aspects of the course. |
